Collaborative Agreement Builder (CAB) Overview

A negotiation is started by an Initiator (Beachfire license-holder) who:

• Selects one or more document templates.
  
  
• Names the negotiation.
  
  
• Builds the initiating negotiation team.
  
  
• Invites a Responder, who then builds and invites a responding negotiation team.

After a negotiation has been started, roles are determined by the permissions assigned to team members in their user profiles:

• Viewers (all participants): can view the document, send and view messages, and view team member profiles.
  
  
• Editors: are able to edit the document and Table of Contents, and can also create and edit attributes.
  
  
• Approvers: can approve the document.
  
  
• Team Leads: are able to manage teams, including assigning permissions and adding or removing team members.
